Air Plant + Succulent Terrarium DIY


Hello! I'm so excited to share this super easy DIY with you. It started when T and I were wandering around Homegoods and found these glass terrariums for $6-8 and I wanted to make one for my new office (he wanted to get a couple extra for our house). You'll need moss, driftwood, air plants, mini succulents (all bought at Home Depot) and any other little knick knacks you might want to live in your little mini ecosystem. T wanted a pet lizard or spider to live inside. I said "gross..." So we settled on a plastic dinosaur.


              Here's how to make one without using soil (air plants don't need soil):



            If you want to use a succulent like this one below, you'll need to use soil:

    You only need to spritz it once every two weeks unless the air is dry. I don't know how air plant translates,the air plant has a shallow root system. They don't need soil to grow.

    your photos are way too blown out. the glass vessels are hardly visible.
